Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Course
As a CFI, you can begin instructing students while building flight hours and getting paid for doing such. “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin.
Requirements
30 hours of Ground Instruction, 15 hours of flight instruction, 15 hours of aircraft rental time, and spin training/endorsement if needed.
Payment Options
1. Pay by the Hour. 140/hr wet + 60/hr for instruction (200/hr). No time restrictions for completion
Not included is the Instructor Rating written exam (150.00), the Instructor Rating practical exam (600.00) with the examiner, and Renters Insurance.\
2. Purchase cost of course up front – 4,200.00 (This includes a 10% discount, 30 hours of ground instruction, 15 hours of Instruction, 15 hours of aircraft rental, foreflight 1 yr subscription – if not already purchased, the Instructor Oral guide, and the written exam – 150.00.)
Not included is the medical (80.00-175.00) and the CFI Rating practical exam (600.00) with the examiner.
